Features of RedoxMaster
RedoxMaster is a new generation drying machine that utilizes the epoch-making technology developed by Glencal Technology Co., Ltd. Essentially, the machine is capable of processing organic waste into valuable by-products that can be reused as biomass plastics, animal fodder, supplements, fuel and so on depending on the original organic matter. For example, barley tea pomace has high starch content which makes an excellent animal fodder and plant waste can be processed into bioplastic fillers due to its abundance in fibers.
Compared to conventional methods, it can process organic waste:
- ・By reducing water content (up to 3% of the original content) and volume (up to 90%)
- ・In a shorter timeframe (a few hours to one day)
- ・At a lower running cost (reduction to 1/3 ~ 1/20 of the conventional costs)
- ・At lower temperature (0℃~70℃)
- ・At a larger volume (2-7 tons per day)
- ・Without the use of carbonization and oxidation
- ・Without producing wastewater and hazardous gas

Rapid water content and weight reduction
When extracting water from organic waste, optimal water content of by-products is anything below 15%, as beyond this point the organic matters are less likely to rot, allowing easier and longer storage.
In optimum conditions, RedoxMaster can dry organic matters up to 3% of its water content and achieve 90% total volume reduction within mere 8 to 24 hours. Such innovation was deemed impossible by standards set by conventional drying technologies.
Low running and manufacturing costs
The initial investment and running costs for the conventional high-energy consuming equipment can be exorbitant, which is hindering the spread of organic waste processing and recycling in the current market.
The running cost of RedoxMaster is roughly 5~33% of those of conventional drying methods.
This can be credited to electronic processing of the organic wastes without relying on high heat and pressure. RedoxMaster applies our patented technology which promotes evaporation of water at low temperatures between 0℃ to 70℃, significantly reducing the running cost of the machineries.
Furthermore, a volume reduction of up to 90% can considerably diminish any expenses that incur from processing and transport of the organic waste. Such savings can be translated into lower manufacturing costs for end-products, may that be animal fodder, supplements or bioplastic fillers.
Avoid oxidisation and carbonization
With conventional drying technology that rely on high temperature to extract moisture, it is difficult to prevent oxidation and carbonization due to its enormous requirement for heat. Subsequently, products processed in such a way often become dumpling-like matter that is less than optimal for use as biomass plastic filler.
The distinguishing feature of RedoxMaster enables organic matters to be processed without oxidation and carbonization, which needless to say, has some practical merits such as preservation of active ingredients. For example, when dry processing apple pomace or coffee ground, this technique minimizes the damage to crucial nutrients such as polyphenols whilst reducing its water content below 15% and preventing decomposition.
When it comes to manufacturing biomass plastic filler from organic waste, any damage to the plant fibers should be minimized from carbonization and oxidization as the natural fibers provide vital strength to the bioplastic. Therefore, biomass plastics manufactured using by-products from RedoxMaster has the edge over traditional biomass plastics in terms of strength and durability.
Another feature that differentiates RedoxMaster from other technologies is the end state of the by-products after processing. Unlike the dumpling-like matter that form from conventional methods, RedoxMaster yields fine and uniform particles that are more adaptable for reuse as raw materials for bioplastic fillers, animal fodders and fuels.
No wastewater and hazardous gas produced
Recent tightening of wastewater regulations has placed greater importance on wastewater management. RedoxMaster does not emit any hazardous gas or wastewater so not only it’ll comply any local regulations, installation of drainage facility is unnecessary.
Malodor kept to a minimum
The RedoxMaster produces little to no malodor during the drying process. Therefore, it is ideal for installation in food factories for example, which require a clean environment. The natural smell from the food waste to be processed does often exist, however, it can be removed by optionally installing separate deodorizing device.
Can treat large volume of organic matters per day
RedoxMaster can process a large amount of organic matter generated from industrial facilities such as food factories. The standard model with 16000-liter tank is capable of treating 2~7 tons of organic waste per day.
The standard model is same size as a regular 20-foot container, so any machine that can handle a 20-foot container can easily install and transport RedoxMaster. (*The figure varies depending on conditions such as the type of waste, ambient temperature, humidity and so on.）
